IMSFF Returns to Racing

Daytona, Florida

UPDATE: The 46th anniversary of the Rolex 24 had 2 cars in the field carrying the IMSFF logo, Car 63 and Car 62. In spite of rainy weather, the race was a huge success. During the autograph session, many people were exposed to the Fund based on the car sponsorships. We especially thank Tom Lehmkuhl for leading this effort and being a strong supporter of the Fund.


On January 26-27, 2008 the IMSFF will return to the race track, this time at the Rolex 24 at Daytona. This 24 hour race includes two classes of cars, Daytona Prototypes and GTs (Porsche, BMW, Corvette, Mustang, Mazda RX-8, Pontiac), with top drivers from the Grand AM and other major racing series.
The Racers Group, a California based auto racing team, will carry our logo on up to SEVEN of their Porsche GT3 Cup 997s during the 24 hour race.

The first hour and a half of coverage will be carried on the FOX network while cable network SPEED will carry 13 hours of live action. Race coverage begins at 1 PM Saturday on FOX.
