This year's event will kick-off at 11:30am and plans are underway to field a full course with 36 teams. The Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund looks forward to sharing our mission with the San Diego community and enjoying the spectacular air show.
This year's event is scheduled to tee off at 9:00am. The entry fee is $100 per person and includes breakfast, lunch, and drinks. In addition to supporting the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, this chapter also supports Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation. Over the years, the Houston Chapter has made numerous donations to the Fund and also purchase shirts for Team Semper Fi.
Donald Hastings, an avid marathon runner from South Carolina has registered to participate in this 1/2 Marathon and is seeking donations and pledges to honor our injured Marines and sailors. Mr. Hastings has run in other events; he recently participated in the Cooper River Ridge Run and Walk held in Charleston, SC.
Top-rated NCAA Division I teams' UVA and Navy will be facing off at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex October 5, 2007. Hampton Roads Chapter of US Lacrosse (HRLax) will be sponsoring this exciting sporting event. The Virginia/Navy game provides Hampton Roads Lacrosse fans an opportunity to witness the fastest game on two feet, played by talented athletes. 12:30pm-4:00pm Golf (4-person scramble); check in as early as 11:00am to practice. 4:00pm-6:00pm Dinner (no-host bar), Awards Ceremony, and Raffle. The Marine Corps Coordinating Council of Oregon and Washington (MCCC) is pleased to host their annual golf tournament with a portion of their proceeds to benefit the IMSFF. This year's event is open to all, especially Marines and friends of Marines. Registration is limited to the first 144 golfers. The $140 registration fee covers the green fees, cart, a welcome gift package, catered dinner and prizes! Various sponsorships are available as well.
