Tartan Golf Club Wounded Warrior Tournament

UPDATE: Thank you Tartan Golf Club for raising more than $5,000 for wounded warriors and the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund. Fortunately, the weather cooperated and participants were able enjoy a wonderful day golfing with service members and raising funds to assist our wounded. Below is a picture of the top teams of the tournament.

Thank you Tom Parrish, Dan Nelson and the Tartan Golf Club of Weems, Virginia for bringing the community together to show their support for the men and women who serve our country!


The Tartan Golf Club is hosting the Wounded Warriors Golf Tournament in conjunction with the Professional Golf Association's (PGA) "Patriot Day" annual event. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund and the PGA's "Patriot Day" program.

The Guest of Honor for the tournament will be General Jack Sheehan, a 35 year veteran of the USMC. The tournament will be a best ball scramble. All foursomes will include one wounded warrior or active duty service member.

Lunch will be at 11:00am, followed by golf. The cost will be $75 per person, and includes golf, cart, lunch, and prizes. For more information please contact Tom Parrish at parrisht@saic.com or 703-407-1606.
