Lance Corporal David Leddy

David Leddy and family

PFC David Leddy sustained a fragmentation wound to the right leg, left knee and left hand on September 29, 2006 in Iraq. He has a limp in his leg due to nerve damage, but has made great progress. He received his prosthetic fingers. The Marine’s mother remained by his side during his entire time at Bethesda, thanks to the ongoing support she received from Semper Fi Fund. She continued caring for him while he recovered at his parent’s home outside Chicago. PFC Leddy is at home and has completed all of his physical and occupational therapy. He is now enrolled in classes at Harper Community College and Semper Fi Fund just purchased a computer for his use.
